Fuerteventura - finally photos

We had postponed our dance photoshoot the entire week - so on Sunday, our last day, we had to do it. I set the alarm for 6:30 AM to get ready. While I was putting on my make-up I heard rain outside but chose to ignore it.
I dragged Oli out of bed, we ate breakfast and packed our stuff.
To make things easier I put on the top half of the costume so when we arrived in the sand dunes I olny had to change into my skirt and belt.

It was a bit of a challenge to find a good position with the sun coming from the sea and the wind from the land.
Oli had his new high tech equipment, an objective he could attach to his iPhone and which apparently took better pictures than his old camera!
After the sand we drove 5 minutes to another location - a ruined stone house, a typical sight for Fuerteventura.
Then we went back to the hotel to change and check out of the hotel.
We nearly had to stay there because the door of the parking lot refused to open. Some Germans tried to open it in different ways with no success.
Finally a receptionist came out and managed to rescue us.

We just drove into town to have lunch at the Waikiki restaurant - their Malibu burgers were so good! Of course now that we had to leave, the weather was finally nice!
Last look at the surfers...
We had a relaxing stroll along the sea and back to town before it was finally time to drive to the airport.

Caught in souvernir hell
It's sunday and the weather is fine... Everybody goes to the beach!
Ready to board in an empty departure hall. Working in the duty free shops must be extremely boring this time of the year...
But at least Oli got to eat another ice cream outside.
Our flight even took off 15 minutes early!
